Tuscany Joins Cristo Rey Jesuit High School’s Network of Corporate Internship Partners

Tuscany Strategy Consulting is proud to announce it has become a partner of the Cristo Rey Jesuit High School Corporate Internship Program in Baltimore, MD. Tuscany is deeply committed to improving access and service to all students through its work with education organizations of many types. We are pleased to welcome Katherine Badena-Cruz, our first Cristo Rey intern, to our team this academic year!

Cristo Rey is a network of 37 private, college preparatory schools across the U.S. whose mission is to empower students to succeed in college career, and life. Cristo Rey serves students from some of the nation’s most underserved communities. The hallmark of Cristo Rey schools is the Corporate Internship Program which pairs high school students with internship partners to explore the world of work, build professionalism and confidence, and envision their future.

Tuscany Supporting Dreamscape Learn at ASU-GSV 2021

Tuscany is excited to support Dreamscape Learn in its introduction to the public at ASU-GSV 2021! 

Dreamscape Learn is a collaborative venture between Dreamscape Immersive and Arizona State University. Its mission is to merge the most advanced experiential pedagogy with the entertainment industry’s best cinematic storytelling to deliver unique virtual reality and 2D labs and full course experiences which are efficacious, scalable, and emotionally engaging. Tuscany has been supporting the Dreamscape team in designing a business plan to bring its array of software and hardware options to universities across the nation. The venture’s first product, Immersive Biology in the Alien Zoo will be beta launched at Arizona State University in 2022, with additional pilot sites to follow.

Saint Leo University Announces Acquisition of Marymount California University

Saint Leo University, the largest Catholic university in Florida announced its intent to acquire Marymount California University, a liberal arts university on the West Coast in July 2021. Tuscany has helped Saint Leo conduct due diligence on 5 other potential acquisition targets in the past to help realize Saint Leo’s vision of becoming the largest Catholic institution in the U.S. 

Marymount California University was the first to receive a positive assessment, and the hope is that the merger will enable Saint Leo to expand its reach while continuing to serve the Marymount community as stated in its mission. Tuscany is excited to have helped Saint Leo reach this strategic milestone and hopes that the successful closure of this deal will provide a viable alternative to struggling institutions across the nation.

Johns Hopkins University Announces the Release the Covid-19 Playbook

The Johns Hopkins University Center for Health Security, a branch of the JHU Bloomberg School of Public Health, announces the release of the Covid-19 Planning Guide and Self-Assessment Toolkit for Higher Education, in partnership with Tuscany and the Center for Higher Education Accreditation. Tuscany is proud to have co-authored this guide and hope that its release will assist higher education facilities as they respond to the Covid-19 pandemic in the Fall 2020 and beyond.
