EXAMPLES OF OUR WORK
Tele-Practice Platform Development
Tuscany planned, developed, and managed the launch of the firm’s first tele-practice platform for speech language pathology. Evaluated and selected the technical platform, developed and tested protocols, established a beta site, and developed and led initial training.
Platform successfully launched within four months and led to a new business line for the client.
New Market Entry
For a Midwest-based food services provider, Tuscany assessed the market potential and prioritized a dozen mid-west MSAs considering staffing and labor availability, economic conditions, transportation, and site locations.
Work resulted in prioritized target markets and an analytic framework for assessing additional cities.
Post M&A Integration
Acquisition integration for a mid-market firm acquiring a $22M multi-state healthcare firm. Tuscany managed an 8+ month integration project consisting of eight inter-related teams and projects covering Executive, IT, HR, Finance, Marketing, Project Management, & Operations.
The acquisition was integrated without disruption to services, revenue, or profitability, or loss of critical staff (a key concern).
Case Study: Wide Angle Youth Media
Wide Angle Youth Media (WAYM): A Baltimore-based nonprofit that amplifies youth voices through media arts. Since 2000, WAYM has collaborated with over 8,000 youth to produce thousands of media projects.
WAYM wondered if employer demand existed for a pre-apprenticeship program and if so, where and why. WAYM engaged TSC to assess corporate needs across media fields, along with compensation and placement potential. If demand existed, WAYM planned to pursue a federal grant to create, develop and deploy a pre-apprenticeship program.
TSC spoke with numerous clients, partners, WAYM employees, and students and analyzed open job postings and salaries. The results quantified demand and higher wages for entry level personnel in newer media careers, compared to more traditional occupations roles in film and video or photography.
The readout served as the primary guide and support for a grant writer to pursue federally available funds to develop and launch the new offering.
