Public Private Partnership

Client: University of Oregon

Tuscany managed the development of a public/private partnership designed to bring high-impact evidence-based educational interventions to market in collaboration with a leading provider of specialized educational services.

Work resulted in the creation of the Institute for Scaling Evidenced Based Education as the lead for public/private collaboration.

Tuscany rebuilt a messaging framework focused on identifying and highlighting the core values of the university, based upon primary research across 14 key customer segments in order to reflect the highly diverse student body of the client.

Identified the Fundamental Basis for Differentiating the Institutional Brand

Client: National online university

Tuscany designed a five-stage integrated methodology to identify and prioritize high-impact program and service differentiators in order to reestablish the university’s competitive position, support enrollment growth, retention, and other measurable outcomes.

Based on data from over 12,000 research participants, the university is pivoting to a new brand position that aligns with its historical mission and differentiates it in the market. This entails multiple product innovations to support students throughout their lifecycle.

Tested Dynamics of a “Tuition Guarantee” and Recommended New Bachelors & Masters Tuition

Client: National online university

Tuscany conducted extensive pricing research for one of the largest universities in the country to determine new optimal price points for Bachelors and Masters degrees, structured within a Tuition Guarantee. Tuscany conducted primary research using a unique survey methodology that combined Discrete Choice Methodology (DCM) and an Auction Model.

Work resulted in a new national advertising campaign to rollout the new price point and Tuition Guarantee. The strategy was critical in helping the client reach its aggressive new enrollment target.
